No. The login node is a shared resource for submitting jobs, managing files, and running lightweight commands. Compute-heavy processes run there consume resources that every other user on the cluster needs, and they can make the login node unresponsive. Submit work to compute nodes with sbatch for batch jobs or srun for interactive sessions. For full details, see Compute and Login nodes.
