CoreWeave IAM now includes CoreWeave-managed default access policies that simplify baseline access management for every organization.

Overview

The Cloud Console labels CoreWeave-managed policies with a Default badge. Default policies are designed to reduce policy drift as the platform evolves:
  • CoreWeave manages role membership in default policies and keeps them current as roles change.
  • You manage which principals are assigned to those policies.
  • Default policies cannot be deleted.
This model helps keep common role bundles up to date without requiring administrators to repeatedly edit policy definitions.
