# Why is the Usage by Product billing dashboard empty?

The `Usage by Product and Zone` dashboard requires the `Billing Viewer` IAM role in addition to `Observability Viewer`. Without `Billing Viewer`, the dashboard returns no data. Ask your organization's admin to attach the `Billing Viewer` role to your access policy, then refresh the dashboard.
