# How do I disable Weights & Biases while testing my code?

To configure Weights & Biases as a no-op for testing, use `wandb.init(mode="disabled")` or set `WANDB_MODE=disabled`.

  Even when you use `wandb.init(mode="disabled")`, Weights & Biases still saves artifacts to `WANDB_CACHE_DIR`.
