Learn about data sources for metrics and logs

CoreWeave captures and stores metrics and logs to help you monitor the health of your systems and troubleshoot issues.

Metrics

CoreWeave typically stores metrics in the location where they were generated. For example, the metrics for a cluster in one of the US-EAST regions will be stored in US-EAST. CoreWeave also provides a single global data source for metrics in all locations, making it easy to query and visualize metrics across clusters from multiple geographical locations. Additionally, CoreWeave provides Super Regional data sources for highly latency-sensitive use cases.

For more information about Super Regions, see CoreWeave's geographical hierarchy.

CoreWeave provides the following data sources for metrics:

LocationAddressGrafana data source nameDefault data source
Globalobserve.coreweave.comCoreWeave MetricsYes
US Eastobserve.us-east.coreweave.comCoreWeave Metrics US EastNo
EU Southobserve.eu-south.coreweave.comCoreWeave Metrics EU SouthNo

Querying latency

Latency is already low when querying metrics from the Global location. However, for extremely low latency, query from the location the metrics are being stored.

To find where the metrics are being stored, use the Cloud Console or API to get the location of your clusters, and then refer to the following table to discover where your clusters's metrics are stored:

Metrics LocationCluster Locations
US EastAll clusters in the US geo
EU SouthAll clusters in the EU

Logs

All logs globally are stored in a single central location, regardless of where they were generated. Use the global logs data source to query logs:
