# October 31, 2025 - SUNK v6.9.1 release

> SUNK v6.9.1 patch release with fixes for topology.conf reconfigures, stuck completing jobs, and state duration

## Overview

SUNK v6.9.1 is a patch release that fixes the following issues:

* Excessive reconfigures triggered by watching the `topology.conf` file

* Better handling of large numbers of jobs in the `completing` state

* Increases the time a job is allowed to be in the `completing` state to prevent early termination of `completing` jobs. The time allowed is now double the value specified in the [`UnkillableStepTimeout` parameter in the `slurm.conf` file](/products/sunk/reference/slurm-parameters), plus an additional buffer time of 10 minutes.
