# August 6, 2026 - Login methods GA

> Login methods are now generally available for all CoreWeave organizations

Login methods are now generally available. Organization administrators can control which authentication methods users can use to sign in to the CoreWeave Cloud Console, without requesting access.

## Overview

Login methods let you configure authentication policy at two levels:

* **Organization defaults**: Enable or turn off each login method for all users in your organization. At least one method must remain enabled at all times.
* **Per-user overrides**: Customize access for individual users, enabling a method that is turned off by default or turning off a method that is enabled by default. Common uses include maintaining emergency administrator access and restricting sign-in options for guest users.

CoreWeave supports four login methods: email and password, Google, GitHub, and SAML SSO. Managing login methods requires the `IAM Admin` role.

Login methods were previously in limited availability. For more information, see [July 8, 2026 limited availability announcement](/changelog/release-notes/login-methods).
