# January 13, 2025 - H100 and H200 firmware update

> H100 and H200 based instances now support NV HGX 1.5.0 firmware

H100 and H200 based instances now support NV HGX 1.5.0 firmware, delivering enhanced GPU stability and improved troubleshooting capabilities.

## Overview

H100 and H200 GPU based instances (`gd-8xh100ib-i128`, and `gd-8xh200ib-i128`) now support the latest NV HGX 1.5.0 firmware bundle, delivering enhanced GPU stability and improved troubleshooting capabilities. This update also includes critical firmware upgrades for server chassis, components, and InfiniBand (IB) NIC firmware.

## Affected regions

This change applies to the following CoreWeave Regions:

* `US-EAST-02A`
* `US-EAST-04A`
* `US-EAST-06A`
* `US-EAST-08A`
* `US-WEST-04A`
* `RNO2`
* `LAS1` (Multi-tenant only)

## Key updates

* **NV HGX Firmware**: Upgraded to version 1.5.0
* **Mellanox CX7 IB NIC Firmware**: Upgraded to version 28.43.1014

## Impact

<Warning>
  No job interruptions, downtime, or maintenance windows are expected as part of these updates. The firmware will be flashed outside customer clusters, ensuring there is no impact on committed capacity. Nodes with the updated firmware will begin appearing in customer clusters starting **January 13, 2025**.

  No action is required by customers.
