# September 25, 2026 - Custom dashboards in CoreWeave Grafana

> Create and save your own dashboards in CoreWeave Grafana, now in preview

**You can now create and save custom dashboards in CoreWeave Grafana.** Custom dashboards are in preview. Build dashboards from the data sources available in CoreWeave Grafana to organize the metrics and logs relevant to your workloads. CoreWeave-provided dashboards remain read-only.

CoreWeave provides a root folder named after your organization's display name followed by **Dashboards**, such as **\[Example Corp] Dashboards**. Create custom dashboards and subfolders inside this folder.

Your organization's custom dashboards are visible only to authorized users in your organization. The **Administrator** and **User** [default access policies](/security/iam/access-policies#default-access-policies) grant read and write access to custom dashboards, and the **Viewer** default policy grants read access. If your organization uses custom access policies, assign the **Grafana Dashboard Viewer** role for read access, and add the **Grafana Dashboard Editor** role for write access. Users also need the **Observability Viewer** role to see the metrics and logs in dashboards. See [Dashboard access](/observability/managed-grafana#dashboard-access).
